New York Native, New Orleans raised.  After High School, I went to the Air Force during Desert Storm.  My tour lasted 2 years.  I returned to my beautiful New Orleans to pursue my career in Dental Hygiene.  After deciding that that was not creative enough for me, I changed my career for the first time, by following in my Mother’s footsteps, with Jewels by Park Lane.  Quickly becoming a manager and trainer, found that offering a better life for women in the area was very rewarding.  In 2008, Being married with 2 small children, I needed to simplify my life, I decided to get Permanent Makeup.  I did much research and decided on the “Hand-Method”.  Softer, less evasive, and easy to maintain.  While I was being permanently beautified, I decided to look into sharing this with other women. I went to my first courses in the field.  After 3 years, I am now a Certified Softap Instructor, making women permanently beautiful and also being able to offer them a way to make money with a career in Permanent Makeup, has enhanced my life to the fullest. Stacey Colangelo has been working with Carole and Softouch for 2 years as a Permanent Makeup Artist and Assistant Instructor. Stacey’s background in the visual arts, including earning a BFA from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design makes her a natural in this field. Stacey specializes in all forms of cosmetic tattooing, paramedical tattooing, and is now offering custom body tattooing. She considers hairstroke eyebrows and custom body art her favorite areas to work with. She views each client as a new canvas and is always prepared to make her canvas beautiful. Lauren Hunter – Estetician/Laser Technician

Lauren Hunter is a licensed Esthetician. She has been part of the Softouch family since February 2012. Lauren has always been interested in making people feel and look beautiful. She provides her clients with expert techniques in microdermabrasion, waxing, sudatonic weight-loss, and spider vein removal. Just starting out in her career Lauren is very energetic and motivated in helping you improve your appearance.

Mimi Fallo – Laser Technician

New Orleans born and raised – I have spent the last 18 years working in Dentistry and Surgery.Now I teach Dental Assisting at a local private college and work part time @ Softouch. I have known Carole DeZarn for many years and I am truly proud to be apart of Softouch. I have offered whitening services since Softouch opened and when the business expanded to add Laser technologies I jumped at the chance to become a Certified Laser Technician. I love catering to clients and being a part of making them look their best.
